Caroline SOST
principal: Living School’s director, founder and teacher. She was a former human resources manager responsible for training in an international corporation. She was also a primary school substitute teacher (private and Montessori). She is graduate of the ESCP (Paris Business School)and has a Master’s degree in Ethics Leadership Development and a Master’s degree in Education Sciences. She is also the president of the Savoir-être & education organization (www.savoir-etre-et-education.org) 01.42.38.92.44

Mauve DOYEN
After-School and Ecocitizenship activities Coordinator. With her Master´s in Anthropology and training in dance and music, Mauve coordinated activities and worked with teenagers and children in different parts of the world for six years. She has, most notably, traveled to Cameroon, Mali, and to the Antilles Islands where she spearheaded education projects. She also co-organizes and teaches the Wednesday English Club and Vacation Clubs at Living School. Mauve is studying the Dalcroze music teaching approach.

Andrea Pinelo, joins us as our administrative assistant.
We have known Andrea for several years. She is the daughter of our former janitor at Georges Auric. She lives right next door (a very local recruitment, with a common wall haha).
Andrea is studying law and already has a good experience as an assistant. She is also very comfortable with children. She is a dynamic, smiling and efficient young woman.
She will be your contact for absences, cancellations of canteen meals, exceptional delays due to transport...She can be reached in the morning from 8:30 to 12:00 at 01.42.00.72.24, by text on the cell phone at 06.26.99.66.49 and by mail andrea.pinelo@livingschool.fr

Andrea HERNANDEZ DIAZ

Andrea HERNANDEZ DIAZ
Andrea teaches mathematics in Class 1 and Class 2 and has recently started teaching after school classes of puppetry and Spanish. As you can tell by her name, Andrea comes to us from Spain! Holding a Master’s in Psychopedagogy, she has worked closely with children since 2003, first as a Spanish and English teacher. She has had numerous international experiences: in a school in Bristol, in an orphanage in Uganda, in a middle school in Mexico and even with children in the streets of Madrid. She also taught for 2 years in Grenada in an alternative nursery and primary school. She is passionate about theatre and the creation of marionnettes!
(Currently on maternity leave)

Benjamin DE BROISSIA

Benjamin DE BROISSIA
Teacher for our pre-school and kindergarten bridge class. We have worked regularly with Benjamin as a substitute teacher and during our holiday clubs. Benjamin has worked for years with children. He is trained as an ethnologist, and has just completed an art-therapy course. He plays the cello and accompanies a storyteller during shows for children.

Pauline is a teacher. With a degree in Educational Sciences, Pauline first worked for many years as the assistant director of a children's activity centre.
Eager to teach in the classroom with the children, Pauline was asked to do replacements for all levels of elementary school (more particularly levels CE1/CE2). She has now been teaching kindergarten for 2 years and is very happy to join our eco-citizen school!
Pauline joins our team as a French-speaking teacher in class 2.

Rosemary CLEAR

Rosemary CLEAR
Rosie comes from England and has a Bachelor in French and Italian. She has passed this rigourous certificate which is the CELTA, from the British Council. She has a 3 years international experience as an educator towards children and adults. She has spent time, particularly in Vietnam, in a welcome center for children from 6 month to 4 years old, then in a school where she had the opportunity to teach pupils from 3 to 16. She has cared for some of those kids who suffered important disorders, for they improve their self-confidence. She has also taught adults in Rome for 1 year. Rosie feels a true vocation to work in the educational field and to contribute to a better world.

Mary FERNANDEZ

Born in Malaysia, Mary has the Irish nationality. She has grown up in Ireland and in London. She has a TEFL certificat (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). She has worked a lot with young children while she was living in Ireland and did several humanitarian works in South Africa and Asia.

Juliette TURGIS

Juliette TURGIS
A teacher of literature and history-geography for 17 years, Juliette also trained in Montessori pedagogy and set up workshops to support families in difficulty before becoming a psycho-educational practitioner.
For her, teaching is a real vocation, helping to create responsible citizens of the future who can express their full potential and make their contribution to the world.
So it was a natural step for her to join Living School! Juliette is committed to respecting the differences of each student, making learning a celebration and a place where creativity can flourish!

Grace JENSEN

Grace JENSEN
Grace grew up on the East Coast of America and has family roots in both the United States and Canada. After completing her Bachelor of Education in Canada, she taught primary schools in the United States before moving abroad to teach in Bangkok, Thailand. She loves all outdoor activities, including football, cycling, diving and camping. She enjoys listening to music and singing.
Grace is passionate about creating opportunities for alternative learning through art, music and projects. She is very excited to be teaching English to the yellow class this year and to be at Wednesday Club 1 and Cook and Sing in after School.

Karla worked in digital marketing for international start-up companies in The Philippines before her family moved to Paris.
She was an English teacher and a literature professor in the national university before she decided to be a mother and pursue a corporate career.
She had published 2 books of poetry and edited an anthology of motherhood stories.
She is very content to restart her teaching career with Class Bleu and Class 1 in The Living School.

Our wonderful cleaning and maintenance staff member from the business COFREM. Annette means “grace, favor,” and is a perfect fit for her! She is always smiling and meets head-on the daily challenge of maintaining the upkeep of the big school.

Julie FOUBERT

Julie FOUBERT
English teacher for classes 1 and 3 (pre-kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade). Julie is American, and has a B.A. in French and in Literature. She knows how to put active pedagogy into place in the classroom. Julie has years of experience teaching in ESL environments. Julie previously taught in an international primary bilingual school in Warsaw, Poland. She is dynamic and full of creativity! Julie is also a certified yoga teacher and a trained dancer (15 years’ experience). Just imagine our next end-of-year show! Julie is currently in her second year of the Pathway for the Development of Ethical Leadership.

Annelaure BOYER

Annelaure BOYER
Annelaure is a French public school system teacher for 13 years, mostly in 4th and 5th year.
She has chosen, during all these years, to teach in the troubled areas of Marseille North, to ensure an educational and social job with the children. She knows how to help struggling students.
She educate herself in Montessori and Freinet techniques, as well as speech therapy and is very fond of psychology. She really wants to give a sense of fullfilment to the children.
Annelaure Boyer is the teacher of class 4.

Wednesday English Club Teacher and English Substitute Teacher. Mika is American and French with Japanese origins (from her father). She has eight years of experience working with children, first as a nanny and then as a French teacher for children 3-6 years old. Passionate about meaning and contribution, she also worked in the non-profit sector. She traveled to Asia and the United States. She joined our team in 2009.
